Empowering Customer-facing and service-based businesses to Combat Human Trafficking

Miss Julie's School of Beauty offers comprehensive training designed to equip service-based and client-facing professionals with the knowledge and skills to identify and support victims of human trafficking. Our program empowers salon, restaurants, and retail professionals to become active participants in the fight against this pervasive issue.

Why Service + Client-Facing Professionals?

These professionals often have unique opportunities to observe clients closely. They may notice physical signs of abuse, such as unexplained injuries or poor hygiene. Additionally, they may pick up on behavioral cues, such as a client's reluctance to make eye contact or a lack of control over their own schedule. These subtle signs can be indicative of potential trafficking situations.

Our training program provides participants with the following:

  • In-depth understanding of human trafficking: Learn about the different forms of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor trafficking.

  • Identification of red flags: Discover the physical and behavioral signs that may indicate someone is being trafficked.

  • Building rapport and trust: Develop effective communication skills to connect with clients and create a safe space for disclosure.

  • Responding responsibly: Learn how to respond to potential cases of human trafficking, including reporting to authorities and providing support to victims.
