Knight's of Columbus 11411's Spring Fling Derby & Wine Tasting
Saturday, May 6, 2023 - doors open at 5:00pm
$25 per person. Proceeds to benefit Miss Julie's School of Beauty. Hosted at St. Anne Social Hall, 1600 Mt. Hope Blvd. Buffet at 5:30pm catered by MicGinny's, with running of Kentucky Derby at 6:45pm. Wine tasting 5:30pm-6:30pm by Weis Winery. Additional activities include a Hat Raffle and Horse Draw contest. Wear your lucky derby hat for an extra raffle entry!

Craft-stravaganza Fundraiser Saturday, May 13, 2023 - 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Join us for a whole afternoon of crafting & activities - make the perfect gift for someone special, even if that someone is you! Fun for all ages at the Pinnacle Lutheran Church in Rochester.
Projects include grapevine wreaths, jar seedlings, tie-dye, beaded jewelry, ceramic flowers, and so much more. Refreshments and pizza will be available for purchase by ticket. Activities also include face painting and hair tinsel.

Human Trafficking Awareness Training Monday, May 22, 2023 - 1:00p - 4:00p This FREE 3-hour course hosted by Need Salon teaches caring individuals how to recognize signs of trafficking and how to help. While geared toward salon professionals, this training is applicable in many work settings, and we encourage all concerned community members to join us. **If you are not a salon professional and want to receive training, please join us! After receiving many inquiries over the last few weeks, we are opening our classes to the community.**

MJSB set up a table and collaborated with Angels of Mercy at the Century Club's Monthly Cocktail and Networking to help raise awareness of human trafficking in Rochester. Thank you, Century Club!
Nazareth College invited MJSB to join a panel of experts at the event "Slaves in our Midst," co-sponsored by Feminists for Nonviolent Choices, raising awareness of human trafficking in Rochester and the resources available for victims/survivors. We had a great turnout. Thank you, Nazareth College Public Health Program and FFNVC, for organizing this informative event!
